Why Amata Le Fay loved this fic: "This is an extremely well-written poem that almost completely captures the emotional state of the victors in Catching Fire. The rhyme and rhythm, though not impeccable, is a great way to capture the monotony and unfairness of life and, as the rhythms change and lengthen, the victors grow more firm in their desire to bring down the Capitol and save the world. The imagery and metaphors are particularly effective, and the last few stanzas are absolutely perfect."
